About Your Data
UmpireApp stores all match data locally on your device only — match records, assessments, upcoming matches, and settings. The app also uses Sentry for anonymous crash reporting; if the app crashes, a diagnostic report (containing no personal data) is sent to Sentry's servers and automatically deleted after 90 days.
Deleting Data Within the App
You can delete individual records at any time directly within UmpireApp:
- Match records — go to Saved Matches, tap the bin icon on any match card.
- Upcoming matches — go to Upcoming Matches, tap the match and use the Delete option.
- Assessments — go to Player Assessments, select an assessment and tap Delete.
Deleting All Data
To delete all app data at once, uninstall UmpireApp from your device. This permanently removes all locally stored data, including match records, assessments, settings, and any cached information.
To uninstall: press and hold the UmpireApp icon → tap Uninstall (or go to Android Settings → Apps → UmpireApp → Uninstall).
Request Data Deletion by Email
Because all match data is stored on your own device, there is nothing held by the developer to delete on your behalf. If you would like crash report data held by Sentry to be deleted before its automatic 90-day expiry, please email us and we will submit a deletion request on your behalf. We will respond within 30 days:
What Gets Deleted
Uninstalling the app removes everything stored by UmpireApp: all match records and timelines, card and disciplinary data, player assessments, upcoming match reminders, app settings and preferences, and step count data from match summaries.
Uninstalling does not remove: match PDF reports or backup files you have already shared or saved outside the app, and any copy held in your Google account's Android device backup (if backup is switched on). You can delete device backups in your Google account settings (Google Drive → Backups).
